A Contemporary Retreat in the Heart of Athens
The recent renovation of the Cycladic Café aimed to transform the space into a modern meeting point, evoking the atmosphere of a “hidden oasis” of light and greenery in the center of the city. The light-filled atrium becomes the destination of the visitor’s journey, defined by an interplay of light and shadow. It offers a refreshing pause of coolness, soft light, and vibrant vegetation, detached from the bustling urban scene of central Athens.
As part of this renovation, our company provided the café’s air-conditioning system by installing concealed-type fan coil units for cooling and heating, combined with an air-cooled heat pump by the Italian manufacturer AERMEC.
An AERMEC ANL152HA heat pump was installed, energy class A+, with seasonal efficiency ratings ESEER = 3.82 and SCOP = 3.6, and a total nominal cooling and heating capacity of 33 / 35 kW, featuring an integrated hydronic module. The fan coil units belong to the TUN series, offering high air flow rates and high available external static pressure, making them suitable for demanding commercial applications.
