Reliable solutions for high domestic hot water (DHW) demand
Corfu Imperial Grecotel Exclusive Resort trusts CALDA ENERGY and its partners to fully cover its Domestic Hot Water (DHW) needs. The luxury resort, located in Kommeno, Eastern Corfu, features approximately 300 rooms in a central building as well as independent bungalows, resulting in particularly high DHW consumption requirements.
In the resort’s central building, an AERMEC NRK0700 HA heat pump with a heating capacity of 175 kW was installed. The heat pump is designed to meet the DHW demand of 600–700 guests in combination with storage tanks, offering a maximum water supply temperature of 65°C. The NRK heat pump series, equipped with environmentally friendly R410A refrigerant, is specifically engineered for maximum heating performance, providing a COP > 3.2 and reliable operation in outdoor temperatures ranging from +48°C to -20°C.
