Energy upgrade and modernization of the central air conditioning system
The final phase of the energy upgrade and recommissioning of the central air conditioning system at Kythira State Airport “Alexandros Ar. Onassis” has been completed with the installation of a new AERMEC heat pump, model NRB0754XHAR, with a cooling and heating capacity of 190 kW.
The heat pump features high energy efficiency, with seasonal performance factors SEER 4.06 and SCOP 3.40. In addition, it is equipped with copper–copper heat exchangers for enhanced durability under particularly demanding environmental conditions, a C-TOUCH color touchscreen, and an integrated hydronic module with primary and secondary circuits, ensuring reliable and energy-efficient operation of the airport.
