Upgrade of the central air conditioning system with a focus on energy efficiency
At Limnos State Airport “Hephaestus”, an upgrade of the central air conditioning system was implemented through the installation of two AERMEC air-cooled heat pumps, model NRB1400XHAV00, with a total installed cooling capacity of 800 kW.
The heat pumps feature high energy efficiency, with a seasonal performance coefficient ESEER 4.11 and the highest possible Energy Class A according to EUROVENT, with a COP of 3.22. They ensure reliable operation across a wide range of outdoor conditions, with ambient temperature limits from −15°C to +50°C. In addition, the units are equipped with epoxy-coated aluminum heat exchangers for enhanced resistance in particularly demanding environmental conditions, as well as a C-TOUCH full-color touchscreen offering advanced control and operational flexibility.
