HVAC System Upgrade in Tolo
At Nelly’s Apartments, located in Tolo, Argolida, an HVAC system upgrade was implemented with the installation of a new AERMEC NRL0280 HDEVJP heat pump, replacing an outdated chiller operating with R22 refrigerant as well as a conventional boiler system.
The selected heat pump provides a cooling capacity of 53 kW and a heating capacity of 60 kW, combining high energy efficiency with low noise operation. The unit is classified in Energy Class A+, with SEER 3.74 and SCOP 3.53, while the maximum sound pressure level is limited to 42 dB(A), ensuring quiet and comfortable operation—an important factor for hospitality applications.
The unit features epoxy-coated heat exchanger components, offering enhanced corrosion resistance and long-term reliability in the demanding coastal environment of the area. In addition, it is equipped with a desuperheater for heat recovery, which operates in combination with the existing solar thermal system, significantly reducing energy consumption for domestic hot water production during the summer season.
