Advanced Testing Laboratories

Aermec operates a total of eight calorimetric test chambers that allow precise measurements for all product versions and capacities, even under extreme conditions, ensuring that every heat pump and every product is fully tested and absolutely safe.

Aermec’s TESTING CHAMBER C7 is the largest and most advanced air-conditioning testing laboratory in Europe. With a total volume of 2,200 m³, a length of 28 metres and a height of 6 metres, this state-of-the-art facility is designed for testing units up to 2 MW in heating and cooling. The laboratory is used for testing chillers and heat pumps according to the strict standards of EUROVENT (Europe) and AHRI (USA), ensuring certified performance and accuracy.

Aermec’s laboratory supports:

• Tests at temperatures from –20°C to +55°C and humidity from 20% RH to 95% RH
• Full compliance with EN 14511
• Noise testing according to UNI EN ISO 9614
• Exceptional accuracy levels: ±0.2°C (water) and ±0.3°C (air)
• Test-monitoring room for customers
• Simultaneous testing of two units
• Data-centre application simulation
