Central cooling, heating & DHW management system
With AERMEC’s VMF variable supply system, it is possible to manage energy and control the building for cooling, heating and domestic hot water production (Z.N.X.) through a heat pump and a network of fan coils. The VMF allows full control of the individual units of the installation (heat pump, fan coils, circulator, boiler, DHW), which communicate with each other with the sole purpose of maximum efficiency and energy saving of the system without loss of comfort in the space.
The VMF system is highly flexible and scalable, allowing various levels of plant control and management. It can control a single fan coil or zones with fan coils (maximum number 64 zones) consisting of 1 master and up to 5 slaves. It can also control DHW production, floor heating, additional pumps (up to 12 in total), as well as an external boiler or heat recovery ventilation unit. Through the well-designed VMF central controller we can set separate operating temperatures for each zone individually, compensate by taking temperature readings from each fan coil, and set heating schedules and DHW. With VMF you can have full control over the entire installation.
