Innovative VARIOTHERM VARIOCOMP dry-construction system for maximum comfort & fast installation
In a new 150 m² prefabricated residence in Rethymno, Crete, a VARIOCOMP dry-construction underfloor heating system by the Austrian company VARIOTHERM was installed.
The installation utilized specially designed 18 mm gypsum fiber panels combined with the multilayer VarioProfile 11.6 × 1.5 Laser pipe.
The multilayer pipe was placed in a 10 cm “meander” layout, followed by the application of the specialized Filling Compound T7 across the entire surface, creating a uniform substrate ready for the final floor covering.
The complete construction of the dry underfloor heating system was finished in just 5 days, delivering a fully prepared surface in one-fifth of the time required by conventional building methods.
